- Addressed urgent need to set up Centralized patient monitoring to address patient care concerns
- Took just 18 days(including weekends) from initial concept to staffing a fully operational CTU
- Coordinated Network switch installation, Hardware acquisition, cabling needs, and room setup
- Collaborated with multi- disciplinary team to design and convert this room into the CTU
West Wing Patient Unit Construction
- Member of multi-disciplinary team assembled to design more efficient decentralized nursing unit
- Participated in focus groups to ensure that all IT needs were met
- Completed Project 64K under IT budget
- Introduced digital signage powered by Cerner, first location at UPMC
- Led initiative to establish best in-room computer mounting solution to accommodate all nursing requirements
